August 25, 2010: Our four secondary school classrooms freshly painted by employees of Mr Price Malawi!
For the past two weeks, employees of the retail shop Mr Price Malawi, have been painting our four secondary school classrooms. We built the Jacaranda secondary school almost two years ago, but we never had the funds to paint the four large classrooms. The management and staff of Mr Price Malawi heard about the Jacaranda School for Orphans and decided to help: they bought all the material and then came themselves to paint the school, together with some of our students. We are very thankful, as the newly painted classrooms, as you can see in the pictures below, create a perfect learning environment for our students. The classrooms are now much brighter and much cleaner... Thank you to everyone at Mr Price Malawi, for your generosity and for your hard work!

Two press articles were published in Malawi's leading daily newspapers, the Daily Times and the Nation.
