Would you like to see our work firsthand? Our videos bring you to Malawi to show you the lives we've touched at the Jacaranda Primary and Secondary School for Orphans. We also describe the educational, health and community development outreach projects we run in the Blantyre area. Although we tell just a few stories, we reach thousands of children and adults.

In 2008 Marie Da Silva, the Founder of the Jacaranda Foundation, was given the distinguishing CNN Hero Award, an award for everyday people doing extraordinary things to change the world. Please watch our video to see the award ceremony hosted by Anderson Cooper and Marie's award presented by Cameron Diaz. We are so proud of this recognition by CNN.
