In 2020, as you can see in the video below, Madonna visited us to open ‘Madame X Dance Studio’, the dance studio that her foundation Raising Malawi funded for Jacaranda School. Raising Malawi supports our after-school Arts program of music, dance, theatre, poetry and visual arts.
In 2008 Marie Da Silva was given the distinguishing CNN Hero Award, an award for everyday people doing extraordinary things to change the world.
